The Poncey Highland Safety Patrol Inc. has been incoRporated to organizE a privately funded neighborhood patrol of off duty City of Atlanta police officers to reduce crime and vagrancy.

many of the neighborhoods surrounding Poncey Highlands have turned , with much success, to part time security patrols to address the crime problem in their neighborhood. A patrol for PH is in the initial funding stages and the exact details will be worked out based on participation. The intention is to hire an off-duty officer, ideally one from the zone and familiar with the neighborhood.  The patrol would initially occur 15hrs/week targeting weekend evenings and overnights and be adjusted based on results, patterns and participation... and that is where you come in.

Households = $115/quarter.  No discount for paying entire year up front.

Businesses = $175/quarter

Condos/Apartments/Townhomes/Multi-Family = $9/linear foot of Street frontage divided by 4 quarters

Paid households receive a yard sign and businesses receive a window decal.

Patrols will begin October 1st, 2010.  We are accepting new members who want to join for this quarter.  Those households and businesses that previously paid will receive the 4th quarter 2010 for their contribution.   Everyone will be required to begin as new members beginning January 1, 2011.
